hey... im feeling totally screwed up now. arrggh. today, we had rugby M1 10s(ten aside game) and i totally screwed up in the first game from what i feel. there was just one problem with me today. in the first game, starting part, the ball was slippery. so they started passing the ball and there was this very low pass which made it hard to catch and i knocked on. resulting in a scrum where something happen again and then there was a penalty and then finally a try to damai sec. then because of that knock on, i was too upset over it until i couldnt focus on the whole competition. then the coaches talked to me and i just told them that im not performing up to expectation and all they said was- dont put too much pressure on yourself. u r doing perfectly fine.and then later on another coach talked to me and asked me wad are the two things i wanted achieve indivisually and i said- to tackle and to be a support player. then he asked me two things i wanted to achieve as a team and i said- to communicate more with them and to make sure that they know that i would always be supporting them. then he added on and said- let me add on one more thing for u to achieve. it is to be commited to the game.
so then at the end of the competition, he talked to me again and told me that out of 5 things, i only achieved 3 things. the 2 things i didnt achieve is be commited to the game and communication. then he said that i still played well.
so in the end, we still won. but i feel that the winning didnt really give me any joy but just a lesson learnt that i should not dwell too much on wad has happened but look ahead for wad is going to happen.
next week, the rugby 7s(seven aside) is coming. i only have one week more to show that i will play better then todays' games. i have made mistakes once alr and i would not let it happen again.
